Inspect a video difference at the frame where it happens
DeltaFrame is the video inspection workspace inside GenMedia. Open it from a two-video evaluation pair when ordinary playback cannot explain a motion, timing, identity, or rendering difference.
Inspection tools
- Synchronized playback
Play, pause, seek, loop, and step through both sources on one timeline.
- Alignment
Apply a source-specific offset when the clips do not begin at the same moment.
- Comparison views
Switch among side-by-side, split, blend, and pixel-difference views.
- Delta timeline
Measure the pair and jump to moments where the difference changes sharply.
- Selected-frame review
Send only chosen frames to an AI reviewer when a diagnostic second opinion is useful.
From evaluation or as a separate session
The Inspect in DeltaFrame action carries the current video pair into a new comparison session. You can also create an independent session and add sources manually when the inspection is not tied to an evaluation task.
A saved DeltaFrame session stores the comparison setup, measurements, notes, and source references. It does not change the original evaluation decision automatically.
How to use the finding
Use DeltaFrame to describe where and how candidates differ. Return to the evaluation criterion for the actual choice. A pixel difference can localize change, but it cannot decide whether the change is desirable.
