Import finished media and export de-identified preferences
The import format creates evaluation tasks from media that already exists. Exports preserve the task and preference information needed for analysis while removing fields that would expose reviewer identity or private operational diagnostics.
| Format | Purpose | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| deltaeval-task-v1 | Create a task from finished candidate media | Validated and imported by an authorized workspace user |
| Preference export | Analyze task choices outside the product | De-identified for MLOpt use; reviewer-linked audit detail is not included |
| deltaframe-session-v1 | Move a saved video comparison between DeltaFrame sessions | Separate from the evaluation-task format |
| /llms.txt | Read the public authoring contract in one text document | Reference only; it does not create a task by itself |
Import a finished comparison
- 1
Set the task title, modality, pairwise or rating mode, criteria, and audience.
- 2
Create one item for each comparable prompt or case and include the shared context once.
- 3
Attach at least two candidates for a pairwise task or at least one candidate for rating.
- 4
Use media URLs that the application can reach and that you are allowed to evaluate.
- 5
Validate the preview, candidate grouping, references, and labels before creating the task.
What a preference export contains
Before archive, an MLOpt export contains task context and de-identified, unweighted recorded responses for descriptive analysis only. It does not expose private behavior or reliability weights and must not be treated as the official weighted outcome. After archive, event rows are omitted and the export contains only the privacy-safe sealed official aggregate.
The export omits stable evaluator keys, personal identifiers, comments, detailed client diagnostics, and fields used only for private reviewer operations. Reviewer-linked rows and exact private analysis weights remain restricted to hidden platform-admin audit access.
Treat the export as evaluation data. Do not join it with unrelated identity data or publish item media without the same approval that applied to the original task.
Validation and retry
Fix invalid URL shapes, missing references, unsupported modes, or malformed fields in the source document. If an import request times out, check whether the task already exists before retrying so one document does not create duplicate work.
