Three roles, several task audiences

GenMedia has Standard, Creative Engineer, and MLOpt workspace roles. The fal.ai team is an account audience based on a verified @fal.ai address, not a fourth role. Platform administration is granted separately and is not documented as a normal workspace role.

What each workspace role normally does
RoleTypical workResult access
StandardComplete fal-team or explicitly assigned evaluationsBasic results after completing an eligible internal task
Creative EngineerReview internal Evaluation Tasks and contribute domain judgment through a protected role-based evidence policyAdvanced task results after completing the evaluation
MLOptCreate tasks, select endpoints, manage projects and audiences, monitor generation, and analyze resultsAdvanced results and de-identified preference exports

Verified fal.ai accounts

An account must verify its email and complete the current Terms and reviewer profile before it can be used. A verified @fal.ai account belongs to the fal.ai team audience. New tasks use that audience by default, while an MLOpt operator can attach a saved, filter-defined Standard reviewer cohort when narrower staffing is required.

A Standard fal.ai reviewer can complete an available task and open the Basic result after finishing. Model identity, Advanced analysis, exports, and reviewer operations remain restricted by role and task state.

External collaborators are invitation-only

A verified address outside @fal.ai does not receive general workspace access. Registering an account does not expose projects, task lists, task status, model names, or results. The account receives a neutral evaluation entry only after an MLOpt operator explicitly assigns it to a task.

An external reviewer can complete that blind evaluation and nothing more. The task title, aggregate progress, model identity, Basic results, Advanced results, and exports remain unavailable.

Role and audience are different

A role describes what a person can do in the workspace. An audience describes who may enter a specific evaluation. Changing an audience does not promote a reviewer, and an MLOpt label does not grant separate platform administration.
